WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for the operation of the wastewater treatment plant including but not limited to laboratory testing, industrial monitoring and recording and maintaining all records.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a wastewater license class (D).
  • Perform laboratory testing.
  • Able to work outdoors in wet and cold weather.
  • Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, stand, reach and lift.
  • Work unassisted on nights and weekends. 

EDUCATION:

  • High School graduate or GED 

MINIMUM LICENSE:

  • Valid MO Driver’s License
  • Wastewater Treatment (D) license. 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum certification and on-the-job water system operation experience.

WORK HOURS:  

  • Rotating shift on a regularly scheduled basis
