CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/CASHIER
A BMU Customer Service Representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison to provide service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. Applicant must be committed to providing exceptional service with a positive attitude.
WORK HOURS:
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage a large volume of calls in a prompt and courteous manner
- Assist customers with billing inquiries and analyze their accounts
- Processing customer payments for services, calculating and returning change for cash transactions, reconciling cash drawers to billing system for payments received.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools, keep accurate records of customer interactions, process customer requests through our Service Order system and follow all communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must possess exceptional phone etiquette, communication, and active listening skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Must have good computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office software and a 10-key calculator.
- Must have ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
